About the Directorate

A contemporary home for Kurdish language, culture, and voice in the UK.

The Kurdish Directorate for Community Development and Education in the United Kingdom is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to elevating Kurdish language education nationwide.

We introduce Kurdish into educational institutions across the UK by bringing together teachers and qualified individuals who are passionate about preserving their mother tongue. Our collective also champions Kurdish culture, supports the second generation, and nurtures a shared sense of identity and unity among Kurds living abroad.

All management activities and meetings are conducted on online platforms, ensuring every region of the United Kingdom can participate.
